Breckland Council is urging households to join a collective switching scheme which can save money on their gas and electricity bills. The scheme launched on 1 March and so far nearly 1500 households across Norfolk have signed up.

St John the Evangelist Church

After 10 months, the work on the church roof is now complete.

The interior has had a makeover with a total paint job. This was followed by deep cleaning session by members of the community. Finally a colourful new carpet has been laid down the aisle.

Support Oxborough Open Gardens

There will be a large plant stall on the green. We would be most grateful if residents could pot up any surplus cuttings, seedlings or plants ready for us to sell at the big event.

There will also be a tombola and book stall.
Please donate anything suitable i.e. bottles, food (in date!) etc.

MacMillan Coffee Morning

Very many thanks to everyone who came and had coffee and cake for the MacMillan charity.
There was a great atmosphere in the hall and we would like to thank also, all those who did the baking. We have made, to date, £137.11p which I will send off shortly.

Car boot sale success 
Our thanks to traders, helpers and to all those that attended The Village Hall Car boot sale held on Sunday.
We raised £184.00 towards the village hall funds from this event. Thanks for your support.


The Oxborough Jubilee Group terminates business.
At a meeting held on the 11th September the group approved the accounts showing a surplus of cash in hand of £68.06. It was decided that this sum was to be distributed 50/50 between the Oxborough village hall and St. Johns Church.
There being no other business the account was closed and the group was disbanded
.
