Oxborough wins £1,640 match funding for traffic speed-calming signs.
Oxborough Parish Council’s application for funds to install SAM signs in the village has been approved
NCC announced the spending list (http://www.norfolk.gov.uk/News/NCC173942) for 122 small scale highway projects this week.
The value of works at £3,281 will provide match funding £1,640 towards the costs. This together with monies raised by the ORSG £820 and OPC contribution of £500 brings the total to £2,960.
||It is sad to announce the death of one of Oxboroughs’ best known and colourful residents.
Former engineer Geoffrey Lupton, who lived in the Old School, was the designer of our iconic village sign.
Geoff passed away on Friday 4th March in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kings Lynn.
